Medusa

Do not look directly into the light

I repeat... DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO MY LIGHT

The glow up is real and you could possibly lose your sight

For I make no apologies about my luminous divine

That is hidden in my womb and flows upward through my spine

I walk taller when I shine

It's like I'm walking on air

I feel stronger when I shine

It's like the weight of the world is bare

I make no apologies about who I am

It can never be another, for my makeup is rare

Do not look directly into the light

If my light makes you uncomfortable

No I cannot turn it down

Dimming my light is incomparable

To my whole self and feeling complete

Because I'm tired of holding me back

Putting anchors around my feet

Shiiit I'm free

I ain't got no time to compete

I refuse to burden myself to low self esteem

Shiiit I'm free

Free enough to want the same for you

The question is do you want it too

Rather than go against me

Find your light within you

See yourself within me

Manifest what you can be

And when they say you shine to bright

Give them the same warning

Do not look directly into the light

I repeat....DO NOT LOOK DIRECTLY INTO MY LIGHT
