STYLE CHILD| TIA MOWRY WITH THE POSTPARTUM GLOW UP

FIND OUT HOW TIA'S GLOW UP AFTER HAVING HER BABY GIRL IS GIVING US BLACK WOMEN ALL THE JEWELS WE NEED IN THIS SOCIETY

So if you have just started following me and reading my blogs then you’re probably unfamiliar with my Style Child content. I started Style Child a couple of years ago to celebrate and be inspired by beautiful black women who give us inspiration, motivation, and encouragement through their choice of style/fashion.  I recently bought it back because I believe it’s much needed to shed light on each other so that we can see a different perspective of how influential black girls and women are to this industry.

First person I’d like to start with is Mrs. Tia Mowry-Hardrict. I’m sure you all remember her from the hit show Sister Sister and if not you know her for Melanie off the hit show The Game. In any event, lately Tia has been shedding a little more light on her life through her lifestyle show on Facebook Watch called Tia Mowry’s Quick Fix. On this show she gives tips, insights and diy’s on day to day things such as decor, recipes, and motherhood.

She recently had her second child which was a little girl and she allowed us in her journey to get peeks of what she’s going through and what we, the audience, may expect for our own experience. I can honestly say she was adorable and had the preggo style slayed to the gawwwds while she was pregnant, however I was most intrigued on how she handled her post par-tum.

Tia was very inspiring on how she handled her post par-tum by posting the cutest white dress two weeks into postpartum. The message that she sent mom’s everywhere while wearing that dress was basically to not feed into the unrealistic expectation that society puts on us after we have a baby.

Listen, I for one was definitely guilty of putting those types of burdens on myself, and if it wasn’t for my husband to keep me grounded I probably would’ve lost my mind years ago. He would always say “Babe, you just had a baby, relax”, but of course I wasn’t with it.

Tia Mowry definitely taught us that it is style and beauty after child birth, so with that being said I’d like to introduce our Style Child Tia Mowry-Hardrict!!!

Like anything it takes time for your body to heal and recover. Yes, you’ve gained weight but you were just caring a 6 to 8 pound baby, sIs! Just like it took 9 to 10 months to get there then it’s going to take that much to get back. So look good in the process and enjoy the journey of motherhood and the bond with your new bundle of joy.
